In catering services since 2014

We are already 10 years old!

Catering Równość, or sometimes more officially the Równość Social Cooperative based in Krakow, is our social catering company that has been on the market for 10 years. We have been operating continuously since 2014, guided by the idea of ​​social inclusion. What does it mean? It means that by selling catering services we are simultaneously creating workplaces for people who are socially excluded, unemployed or struggling with mental illness. Thanks to this, our customers eat delicious dishes, while doing something good for their immediate surroundings, and people who were previously excluded have stable employment.

What we do?

We are a catering company offering hot dinner dishes, grilled dishes, finger food snacks and sweets. Our services are used by individual and corporate clients. You can order occasional catering for family celebrations, holiday catering for Christmas and Easter and tasty snacks for a party or meeting with friends. We also carry out orders for conference catering. We can prepare an all-day coffee service, provide lunch tailored to dietary requirements and organize an elegant banquet or gala.

 

 

The main axis of our activities is corporate catering. Almost every day we appear in Krakow corporations and provide themed breakfasts served in the form of a buffet, personalized sandwiches, regular lunches with a varied menu tailored to the needs of employees, finger food snacks and grilled dishes. We also serve organized groups. We have a large room in the heart of Krakow at ul. Bernardyńska 3. It is an ideal space for a group dinner after sightseeing in Wawel or the Old Town.

It's not just profit that counts!

Our catering activities are wide and diverse, but we are always guided by one goal. We want to develop and create more workplaces for people excluded in our society. Catering Równość combines the features of a company and a non-governmental organization. We are not focused on profit, but on benefits for the community of people with mental illness. Every customer who orders our catering services co-creates new workplaces for people with mental illness. Our team consists of people who really want to work. They are full of passion for creating good food and teamwork. After various crises, they return to the job market. They want to gain professional experience, improve their economic and social situation, and also feel that they are needed.

Currently, our company employs 31 people, of whom 21 are at risk of exclusion.

Who works for us?

We have combined the strength of professionally activated employees with qualified management staff responsible for the entrepreneurship department, a professional chef who is the heart of our company, and people responsible for marketing and PR activities. Our main goal is not economic profit, but creating new workplaces and activating new groups of employees.

It's always better together, teamwork makes sense!

We work as a team and support each other on a daily basis. Each catering order is created as a result of cooperation between four key areas. The kitchen area, the order delivery section, the area responsible for washing up and the space where orders are received, the office.

Magic happens in the kitchen

Mateusz, Andrzej, Mikołaj and Maciek are chefs who create recipes, test new dishes, prepare seasonal menus and, most importantly, cook deliciously! They bake, fry, stew and cut. However, they do not work alone. Jacek, Grzegorz and Mariusz prepare all the products needed for cooking. They peel vegetables, which are now the basis of dishes ordered by customers. We increasingly often carry out catering in the spirit of a vegetarian or vegan diet.

When it comes to preparing flour dishes, Grażyna gets to work. The dough for dumplings, tarts, or samossas, which are beloved by customers, is always made according to a proven recipe. When portioned meat dishes appear on the menu, Rafał appears in the kitchen, who measures the portions and makes sure they are shaped correctly.

 

Patrycja, Gosia, and Renata are a female team that is not afraid of any salad or coleslaw. Month by month, they have more and more work and more ideas for new salad varieties.

Finger Food snacks are our specialty. Agnieszka, Klaudia, Patrycja and Dima are true culinary artists. They create the most beautiful seasonal snacks. Small and large, salty and sweet, but all refined and aesthetic. Toasts with savoury additions, vegan cupcakes, mini pasties, savoury tarts, crinkle pie, sweet shots and extraordinary boards of Italian cheeses and cold cuts.

Delivery on time

Another team that plays a huge role in our work are waiters, drivers and deliverers. Sebastian, Marek, Łukasz, Krzysztof, Marcin and Bartek make sure that the order arrives on time and is beautifully presented. Their work is difficult and demanding. They know the Krakow traffic jams well and know perfectly well how much a box full of ceramics weighs. They take the order from the kitchen, deliver it to the customer, spread it out, and then a few hours later return to the same place to collect the dirty dishes.

It won't wash itself

When all services are completed and the dirty dishes, tablecloths and napkins have been returned to the company, Marysia, Ania, Grażyna, Iwona, Justyna, Grzegorz and Jarek start working. They are the ones who guarantee that everything is shiny, clean and ready to use the next day. Their work is important and makes every order look good. The number of washed plates, cups, cutlery and kitchen utensils can make you dizzy. The cutlery they wash always shines and the glassware does not have any streaks. They are professionals in their profession.

Office activities with a touch of creativity

In order for all the above-mentioned employees to have something to do, another team is needed, which, for a change, spends most of its time in the office in front of a computer or in a meeting with a client. Teresa, Jacek and Ewelina take care of the company’s financial liquidity, answer phone calls and respond to emails. They are the ones who create graphic versions of offers, send them to clients and determine the details of the order. They meet with clients, visit places where services are provided and look for the best solutions. Logistics management is also part of their activities. They also take care of social media and the implementation of photo sessions. Instagram and Facebook present catering implementations on an ongoing basis.
